Dr. Deepak has done his Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Therapeutic Restorative Yoga from Dr Karandikar's Kabir Bagh Math Sanstha, Pune and M.Phil. from Vinayaka Missions University, TN. He has been awarded honorary doctorate [Ph.D (Honors)] by Indian Board of Alternative Medicines for exceptional work done in the field of "Yoga therapy for Pain Relief” and [Ph.D.] in yoga.
Dr. Deepak has come a long way following his passion for sports and yoga since early childhood to getting Medical Yoga an important place amongst alternative therapies from a point when very few people believed in the techniques. Medical Yoga therapy, a unique blend of Hatha Yoga and modern medicine has been recognised in India and abroad for its miraculous results, even complex diseases and disorders ( joint pains, cervical and lumbar spondylitis muscular problems, heart ailments, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, ankylosing and many more) permanently from the root.
His expertise is in Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Anatomy and Kinesology. He is a revered visiting faculty at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Kabir Bagh Math Sanstha, Chetna College and International Naturopathy Organization (INO).
He has undertaken research work towards finding the effect of yogasanas on the blood circulation in the lower extremities and has authored a research paper on "Review of literature on yogic practices", published in Journal of Advance and scholarly researches in allied education.
